In the Naledi industrial park land owners will benefit from incentives proclaimed by the local city council. For the first five years following transfer, owners will only pay for services, and no land tax. According to Mr Christo van der Merwe, developer of the Naledi industrial park “this translates into a discount of close to 60% on the buying price of the land”.
